I have a client that is trying to add the same node in xml in different levels of the xml, using the addcontent pbdom function,
But it keeps failing, it's possible to add the same node in different levels?
If he don't use the same name every thing it's fine.

I am trying to understand why is an emulator needed. Looks like it's for mapping keys from an vt100,220 device to an Intermediate RF gun. Am I right ? Do I always need an emulator or is it only needed when I have SAP CONSOLE. What if I have ITS Mobile. Will I still need any emulation.

Hi All,
In S/4HANA when adding the partner function SE to a partner determination procedure, the search help shows the sales personnel maintained by VPE1/2 but without the employee id, so they cannot be added as a partner function.
However, when looking at the sales personnel, there are personnel numbers appointed to the persons:
We need the partner function SE eventually on the sales order to be able to report on this.
Any ideas are very welcome!

We are upgrading from ECC6.0 to EHP8. There are some enhancements in include MV50AFZ1 but those did not appear in SPAU or SPAU_ENH and enhancements in program MV50AFZ1 are missing.
Is there any step missing as i am apprehensive there may more programs where enhancements not copied and neither they appeared in SPAU or SPAU_ENH.

We can make the earlier 2.3 version of the SDKs available manually. There is no automatic way that I know of to make more than the latest version available in SCN.
If you have not done so already, can you please raise messages for the glitches (with screen shots or steps to reproduce if possible) against component CA-VE-SDK-VEVM and I will try to address the issue in the next SDK release.

I want to change existing Attribute view to add one more filter on same field. Currently I have a table which is filtered on partner function and getting records in result field. It has filter on VBPA partner function and hardcoded/filtered with item number. Standard conditions - VBAK-VBELN and VBPA-VBELN and VBAK-KUNNR to VBAK-KUNNR. All left outer with 1:n. This is correctly putting value in result field- partner function name in attribute view. This is header level data.
Now I want to add another value in filter on partner function to have that value displayed in another field. Assuming this it simple, put another KNA1_1 and VBPA_1 table instant in data foundation. According to same filter logic, did left outer join on VBAK-KUNNR with KNA1-KUNNAR and hard coded new VBPA_1 on item number (000000) and partner function to ‘new type’ filter. I wanted to have this new partner function name from KNA1-NAME1 to another field. It is not working.
I can define 2 attribute views with different filters and Union them in calculated view. But this is not easy in my scenario as my attribute view is called in another analytical view and then other calculated views (including scripted view too. I am looking for minimizing the changes. So I want to do this at attribute level only. Any suggestion or work around to have 1 table field filtered twice in attribute view?
Yes, we generate the report(s), apply sorting, save, then schedule to create csv files daily.

Hello,
We have created a joined data source combining C4C standard data sources:
* Opportunity header and item
* Contact master data
* Account master data
We want to expose this joined data source to BW.
But the Expose button is greyed out.
(We are able to expose standard datasource such as Contact master data individually though).
Can anyone advise what could be the issue? Can a custom joined data source cannot be exposed to BW?!

I see that wait time helps between the "Operations" within a routing.
I have Material A (header) and component B.
Routing for A :R1 - one operation OP1 (Planned order A)
Routing for B: R2.- One operation OP2 (Planned order B)
I have separate routing for A and B. I need to start OP2 always 30 mins later.
R1:Op1: 8.00 - 9.00 am (Planned order A)
R2 :Op2 : 9.30 - 10 am (Planned order B)
Any suggestions.

I have a sales order which only created delivery for one item; I've checked for the following:
- Complete delivery flag is checked.
- There's no reason for rejection for any items.
- There's no delivery or billing block in the order.
- Schedule lines show confirmed Qty.
- Materials have availability in APO.
Not sure what Am I missing here; any ideas what else can be checked?

If this doesn't work you will need to create an incident so the support team can check your database

As Nicole has mentioned you need to link activities of the Invitation category to activity types of the categories Status Change, Qualifying Event, and Questionnaire.
This can be done in the IMG area: "Link Activity Types with Referencing Activity Types"

My SQL has the replicate function. What is happening is I want an alternative to this function because I used it to created a query in SAP Business UDF query and it works perfectly.
Unfortunately SAP Business One version for HANA does not have the replicate function and became of that I can't apply the query in the UDF query .
If there's an alternative function that also works in both SAP Business one version for SQL and HANA I will be glad if that can be shared .

If your needs rework Custom HCM Report on Hana and take advantage of HANA, first, you should be install SAP Hana Studio or Eclipse Studio and then you can take your Z programs and convert it.
Now, i think not is just Best Practices, basically, you will use the power of HANA.
In reference to FM's, you will figured out what is the better FM for your scenario.
